- Wake up early in the morning and wear pink or white colored clothes. In the evening, offer a stream of pure honey from a silver or copper pot to Shivalinga.
- Perform Abhishekam with a stream of pure water and chant the mantra Om Sarvasiddhi Pradaye Namah 108 times.
- In the evening, husband and wife should offer 27 red rose flowers along with sandalwood perfume to Lord Shiva by saying Namah Shivay 27 times only.
- Perform Aarti by offering food, incense and lamps.
